My Aussie adventure continues and I find myself in the city of Melbourne for a few days and 2 shows. To keep costs down I thought I would try my first hostel (see pic).
Let's just say, it is a very different way to travel. I feel like I am in a big co-ed dorm with students from around the world.
Great people and there is even a Canadian here that used to live in Calgary. It turns out we know a few of the same people! Start up the song "It's a small world".
I think it would be better to do the hostel thing if I was just on a vacation and did not have all my business stuff, like my laptop etc. with me.
I may try another one soon as it is a great way to save money.
