If you are not familiar with MR. Dick Cheese he does cover/parodies of popular songs as a , well...a cheesy lounge singer. The result is hilarity!
Now normally I don't like seeing performers using old material and just re-working it. (A good example would be a comic just re-using old stock racial stereotypes and calling it an act)

What Richard Cheese does is give the song a totally new feel with his swanky style. You have not lived until you hear a lounge singer version of Snoop Dogg's "Gin and juice" or OUTKAST's "Hey ya".

I have played the album at parties to see who can guess the song first. You would not believe how different a song can be when it is "swankified" (as Dick calls it). A great way to stump your music buff friends!!

Check out his site and if you really want a different music CD to listen (and laugh) to grab a few from "the Dick". They are great for long drives...along with my "Herding the sheeple" CD of course.

In other news I was searching for the meaning of "Corporate bootlicks" and was directed to a travel notice: if you are in the Carribean area be careful, the rare hack-whale may be beaching itself over the next while. I hear it is 'native' to that area.

That's all for now kids!
