I can't believe how many I caught!!

The past 2 days I have been flooded with emails from people shocked and upset, asking "Why I am retiring from comedy and going back to trucking?". I thought more people would catch on to the day of the blog post "last tour".

April Fools to all that fell for it!!

C'mon, do you really think I would pack it in after all I have achieved in 13 yrs? The TV and radio coverage, the festivals, the tours around the world, my CD, the clubs and corporate shows? I thought you all knew me better than that!!

I love this industry too much to leave...EVER! Plus this year is turning out to be so much fun as I continue to market myself and be marketed by several reputable firms. Lots of things in the works.

Yep, it sure beats droning down the highway (no offence too my trucking brethren out there), working a regular job...or being a billed as comic strip!! (not to be confused with the wonderful Comic Strip comedy club in the West Edmonton Mall, where comics are treated well, their names promoted and the crowds plentiful).

Thanks to all my friends and fans who were concerned. You may relax, the Makk Attakk is still out re-educating the world one joke at a time.

Not sure what the cartoon comics are doing but then...it is more about company name brand, where they are, than they themselves really!! In a sad way that's comical!!

Happily promoting my name brand- Daryl Makk- I hope to catch some of you next year with a new gag!
