Well it is that time of the year. The grass starts to turn green, the days get warmer, geese return, and guys with no fashion sense display their pasty white legs while wearing sandals...WITH SOCKS!! Stop it!!!
As a winter un-tanned Canuck myself, I can excuse the pale Canadian skin hue that many of us have from being hidden from the sun all winter but, sandals are meant for bare feet. PERIOD! If it is too cold to go without socks dude, you need shoes. Got it?
Already I have lost count of the number of men, allergic to mirrors or without a shred of fashion sense, displaying this horrid sight. It is even worse with black socks! Go home, you are scaring the kids!!
Do you wear winter boots when swimming in cold water too? No. You avoid the water.
It is even sadder when said guys wear this combo to a bar and then try to pick up women!! Ladies understand that a guy like this is waaaaay too much work and often giggle behind his back. Exceptions are trailer park princesses and blind women.
So spread the word and lets stop this blight on our visual landscape.
There. I feel better.
