Just wanted to let you all know that after:
5 hrs in the car from Ft MacMurray to Edmonton
2 hrs at the Edmonton airport.
1.5 hrs on Air Canada to Vancouver.
5.5 hrs in Vancouver airport (man what a LONG time that was! They need more things to do in there)
Then 13 hrs and 40 mins on Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong (Knees crammed against the seat in front of me)
3 hrs in Hong Kong airport (more like a city on its own. Hot showers, free internet, food....ahhhh)
another 7 hrs and 45 mins on Cathay Pacific (got an exit row this time-thankfully)
so all in all about 38.5 hrs of travel and waiting...I made it to Perth Australia!! No rubber glove at customs so that was a good thing!
My friend picked me up and we got a flat. So my first event here was to change a tire on a car I have never heard of before!!
But I am here and it is great! 28C today!
