I tried driving in Australia today. What a mind trip!! Not only am I on the other side of the road and car but even when you try to think opposite it all seems wrong! Even the controls are backwards. Now when I go to signal the other drivers know by the fact the wipers keep coming on!
Decades of training and habits have to be fought so much that I feel like someone that has been out drinking and is going by a roadside checkstop...trying desperately to drive proper!
Thankfully I am in a rural coastal area with light traffic. I would not want to do the major cities ...yet.
It is like driving all over again...and me being the best damn road warrior in Canada...and I am having trouble wrapping my head around it!!
Well it is time to head off into traffic again. Pray for me!
