Unintentional sun rise

I find Sydney to be a very beautiful city, full of life, things to do but a huge pain in the ass to get around in. Sydney is laid out to follow the coastline with all its bays and inlets and hills. As such getting aroung is not easy task espeically without a car. One night I was to meet up with another comic (Mikey Dee) at a pub. Mickey ended up having car trouble and was unable to meet up with me. As such I was stranded on the far side of the harbor and no way home. My friend Byron was stuck at a party miles away with the same problem, only he was in a house. I was on the street. Thankfully the Australian weather is very nice this time of year. Unable to figure out where to grab a bus I headed to the ferry terminal, as that was how I got to the downtown area. It was now late, 3 am and most bars and restaurants were closed... and so was the ferry. The first boat across the harbor, for the half hour crossing, was not until 7am.
I then did what any tired Canadian boy would do. I grab a few winks on a bench on the dock. Have you ever tried to sleep outdoors? All I can say is if I had a shotgun there would be a lot less NOISY @#&*ing birds around! Can't those flying rats, we call gulls, ever shut the hell up?!?!
A fitfull sleep, and an early crossing that took me past the famous Sydney opera house and bridge. I figured I would snap a pic as it is not often I am up that early. My career is at its peak as I was homeless for a night!
