Blogs. They are fairly new to some, including me. They are an interesting way to share thoughts, ideas, events in your life or just things that amuse you. I read a lot of blogs. Some belong to comics, others to friends and some that I have found by accident/surfing that are just intriguing reads. Some times I like to leave a comment on them if I found the entry to be worthy of comment.
There is one blog I check out occasionally to see what kind of junk has been posted. It is kind of like when you pass an accident. You don't want to look, it is not going to benefit you but sometimes, you just can't fight the urge to take a peek.
It is a blog that just seems to exist to stir up tension amongst peers and spread manure. A blog that puts lies, half truths and fiction out there to try and get rumors started. A blog that helps nurture a fragile ego of a sad little man while he posts pics of others and take shots at any who disagree with his puny world. He does this believing he is untouchable or maybe out of a false sense of some imagined superiorty. Maybe it is to get people to visit his site to make him feel important or get his hits up. I am not sure why the blog is like this, it just is.
I call it the blog of malice.
After reading my blog you have 3 options.
1-Leave the site and go to something else.
2-You can post a comment (if you are a blogger member)
3-or at the top right of the screen, there is a button that says "next blog". This is a neat feature to surf many blogs. I have browsed a few and found some yawners and some really good reads. It is a crap shoot but at times, worth the trek.
Is this how I found the blog of malice? No. The blog of malice is not one that you can comment on. Why would it be? Probably to prevent all the backlash this guy tries to stir up.
There are some who visit my blog and may know which one I am talking about. If you don't, don't sweat it. It is not really worthy of visiting and I don't wish to name it. I am not going to give little man any free PR.
Well enough yakking about this malice blog....it is not worth the time.
How about some fun and upbeat stuff to leave this posting in a better light? Yeah.
This past week I had the pleasure of touring with a young comic named Aaron Berg. We did Lethbridge and Claresholm together. It is Aaron's first time out west so we decided to do play a bit of tourist as we had some extra time and I enjoy playing ambassador to the this great province. Two of the sites we checked out were the Airplane museum in Nanton and the "Head smashed in buffalo jump" near Ft. Maclead. Without going into much detail, we would say both are worth the stop if you are in the area.
In Nanton we saw some vintage aircraft and toured the inside of Lancaster bomber from WWII. I assume the fly boys of that era were not big guys as the interior of the plane was more cramped than I imagined. Maybe they just look bigger in the movies. It was an education stopping in though and if you are a history or techno buff, check it out.
As for "Head smashed in" the view from the ridge is worth the drive alone. Nuff said.
I would like to ad that Aaron is one funny comic although a bit dark in his style. If you are not one easily put off by descriptive topics of reality, then check this guy out. If you thinks jokes about airline food being small is cutting edge....maybe give this guy a pass as he will upset your delicate disposition.
His site I will give a plug .
Aaron Berg's site
Later kids.
