Monday January 23/2006 Canadians head to the polls to elect a new government or keep the same crooks in power.
For the past 12 years we have had a band of thieves running this great country that are so corrupt, they make the mafia look honest. We have a chance to make a difference.
While the government run corporation CCRA (formally Revenue Canada) hound us all to account for every dime so they can take it away, the Liberals have
1- lost over a billion in Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) and no one knows where it went
2- gave millions of our money to their elite friends with ad scam yet no one seems responsible
3- wasted almost 2 billion on a gun registry that has done nothing to reduce crime. Meanwhile hand guns (which have been registered and severly regulated since 1934) still show up on our city streets in the hands of criminals. All this time I wonder how many police and border guards this 2 billion could have hired to prevent this. What resources could we have bought them to catch the bad guys.
4- they have released violent offenders back into society and given lax sentences to our criminal element
5- they reduced the age of moral consent to 14. 14?!? What kind of pervs are they?
6- they have reduced funding to the provinces for health care so much that drastic measures must be done to fix it and NOW they want to make it an issue
7- thousands die every year from lack of medical treatment, mis-diagnosis of medication yet the governing boards for health Canada has less than half the budget of the gun registry. Gun deaths in Canada are less than 300. Lack of medical treatment or mis-diagnosed is in the thousands. Which would have saved more lives?
8- The liberals have fractured relations with the USA, our biggest trading partner and then wonder why we have border disputes on trade
9- they claim Harper would have sent troops to Iraq yet we have increased troops in Afghanistan where they are still in danger. Why are we there?
10- they signed us up for Kyoto which has been proven a flawed plan that will not help the environment but redistribute wealth. The whole time the biggest polluters don't have to sign it.
11- they have allowed known criminals to immigrate into this country and have been so lax at the border that now the USA has added rules for us to visit.
12- they have pushed for French rights across the country while ignoring the Bill 101 Language law in Quebec which has been deemed as a violation of human rights by the UN and made life very difficult for anglophones in that province.
13- failed to replace the dangerous aging Sea King helicopters that the Armed Forces are using, putting our soldiers at risk.
14- Insulted out intelligence as parents with their proposed day care plan. Yeah Paul, you ran the country so poorly we can hardly wait for you to handle our kids!! Not.
15- our current leader has flown flags of convenience on his shipping fleet to avoid paying taxes into the country he is supposed to be leader of. Nice example Paul.

So my fellow Canadians I believe it is time for a change. If the other big parties scare you, vote for one of the new fringe ones. It helps us have options in the future as they can receive funding with enough votes.

Now on the lighter side, in my newsgroup (see post below to join) I have run a poll as to who should lead. Although he is not running, Don Cherry is in the lead as the one who should be leader of this great land. Only in a perfect world! Poll closes after the election.

Get out and vote everyone because if you don't vote you can't bitch after!! Lets hope that we have anybody but the Liberal mafia in power, for all our sakes. If they get in again....lets hope they have changed their ways....but I doubt it.
