I forgot to eat!!

I just moved into my new place which is close to downtown Calgary. It is a nice little 2 bedroom that I tried to cram 3 bedrooms worth of stuff in all weekend. Damn, I thought I got rid of a lot of that crap when I moved last time!!!?
Take my advice, never move on a hot, long weekend. All of your buddies, who would normally help, are all gone to the lake. (f***ers!!) As such, I had to move a lot of boxes and stuff on my own. My shoulder still gives me hassle from the car crash last year so it was a bit tough if anything needed to be lifted up and over anything. Most of it was just dragged and dropped where it was until I could get at it. Less pain that way and it made for a more prolonged, unorganized unpacking obstacle course.
I was scrambling like a mad (madder?) man late last night, to get the place set up and began feeling dizzy. Not stand up too fast dizzy but halucinating dizzy. It was then that I realized that I had not eaten much all day and had not had much to drink, water, beer or otherwise. Kids, forget helmets for safety....drink water and eat food!! It was not until I stubbed my BARE foot on the circular saw, sitting on the floor, that I was shocked out of my stupor. Anyone want to buy a saw with blood on it?
Now the place is set up and ready for my kids' visit. They were to arrive today but the Air France crash (in Toronto) screwed up all the flight loads due to re-routing. The kids fly on stand-by as the ex works for an airline and so they got bumped. I woke up at 6 am to fetch them, not an easy thing for a comic to do by the way, only to get the call that they were not coming today. DAMN.
Once I am up I have trouble getting back to sleep so I figured it was time to do a blog.
I am really looking forward to seeing my boys and going camping. I hope someone has to move while I am gone!
Oh, everyone on the Air France crash walked away which is good news.
I bet they got to eat though!
Time for brunch!!

My heart almost broke for you. Not eating, sustaining an injury, moving. Yeah I 've been doing that for going on a month now so I am not so sympathic on that one, sorry.

Have fun with the boys. However, sooner or later they will turn on you.
