Coming soon!

First I want to thank all those who have emailed and called me this week after my announcement of new management and direction. Your support and comments are great to hear and the many leads for shows are being finalized this week. Stay tuned for more great things happening in the near future!

I managed to get some spots in at The Comedy Cave over the weekend and the crowds were great! It was fun to work along side Bryan McCree as well as trying out a new club. The room is very intimate and reminded me of the old Jester's club that was in Calgary up until 1996.
It was a refreshing change after many years of the same stages. Don't get me wrong, there are some comedy stages I used to perform at that I really enjoyed but may never play again. This was part of my unrest before. Except for private shows and corporate functions, I could only do shows on stages run by, or affiliated with my old agency. That's the rules of working with them. As great as some of the venues were, eventually the luster wears off and one wants more as one outgrows them. Now I have that. I haven't felt this alive since my tour in the UK and down in Australia. I can't wait to visit those countries and others soon.
All comics have to reach the point where they take control over their destiny or remain locked in what ever system they have been in for years. My course is now onward and upward.
This is the exciting new part of my life, the fact that I can produce my own shows as well as work with several agencies and my manager on bookings. To make things even better my "Comedy Now" is airing again tonight! I am grateful for having earned the spot on that show and look forward to any fan mail.
Ah, yes, things to be grateful for:
-my freedom
-my sense of humor
-my friends and family
-my fans
-my health
-not being hooked on cigarettes...But then again I was never much of weak soul to ever start
-my healthy kids. I am proud of my two sons as they pursue things in the arts and sciences and are not being like some of the rotten kids of the world, smoking crack.
- my new place I moved into
- this fine single malt scotch that my friend bought me as a congratulation gift. A nice way to sit and relax while digesting a great dinner. That is the great thing about fine scotch by the way, it is enjoyed and not over indulged.
Hmmm, have I left anything out? I am sure there is a lot more and I will be writing about it later.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you all stay out of the herd of society and think for yourselves.
