Man what a week! I got into Edmonton on Wednesday to do the spots at the Comic Strip. Thursday I checked my email and found I had been selected to do a commercial for Ford. The audition was a week prior and usually I do the audition and then just forget all about them. It is better than second guessing something you have little control over. Even when you think you have done well, you never really know what they are looking for.
Well, I got this one, thankfully the staff at the Comic Strip were very accommodating and covered my spots for Friday.
I drove back home, caught a nap, then showed up on set at Midnight, shot til 6 am, went home, slept and am now heading back on Hwy 2 back up to Edmonton. I am really starting to know every bump in that road!!
I had a great time on the shoot and met up with a few old acting buddies. I like doing things like this and love doing stand up. I once heard someone say they thought I didn't work or work that much. You know what? They're right!! How can it be work if I am having too much fun? I get to play and get paid!! What more can you ask.
Off to Edmonton!!
