Well my trusty little iBook got a new brain last night.
I had grown tired of too little hard drive space from all the files I carry while on the road. My good buddy Joe from the Concept Company had a spare HD that was double the size of mine. So with tools, a case of beer and a few hours we managed to clone my old HD, back it up on my external HD, rip my little laptop apart, do the brain transplant and install the cloned HD back on without a hitch!
Here is a pic of all the tiny parts found inside an iBook. We even put them all back in the right order!!

Now I have the ability to work on video without having to lug an external hard drive with me!!
This is a temporary fix as I plan on getting the new MacBook pro very soon.
Now that is a machine!
To all you Windoze users...it is time to switch from the dark side.

Actually, in my life I have made a few switches from the dark side in many aspects of my life and career. It is so much more refreshing and rewarding to NOT stay with the devil systems that have been the repressive status quo for so long.
There are so many evil things that need to be changed to make this a better world. 2006 is the year for us all to do that.
Off to do things with my new big brain!!
