Thanks "Comedy Now"

:-)

This was a fantastic gig that I have SFA and "Comedy Now" to thank for and it kicked off the tour I am now on.
It was SFA selecting me for a "Comedy Now" and choosing my 1 hour episode to kick off last year's Season 8 that let all the pieces fall into place.

Dan Beaudry, the guy who set this whole gig up was in a dilemma last July as he had been put in charge of securing entertainment for a big trade convention. He was wracking his brain for an idea. Unable to sleep he got up and flipped on the TV. It just happened to be the night CTV was kicking off the new season with my episode of "Comedy Now"!
While laughing his ass off he googled my name and found my site, emailed me and we worked out a deal.
Thanks to Dan for booking me and for all your hospitality while I was there.

Thanks to SFA, Comedy Now, and CTV for my "Comedy Now". It really has begun to change my status as more and more people see it, then book me which always leads to more bookings.
To all who watched, thanks as well.

It is interesting that a show as high profile as "Comedy Now", which is a great credit to promote any act, is sometimes under valued by some. I remember a club chain owner once telling myself and a room full of comics that a "Comedy Now" is not that big a deal and the public really does not care about a credit like that. Really?

With many gigs booked because of it and all the fan mail I have received all I can say is "Sorry, but I beg to differ!!" I guess my vision is bigger.
The poster is being shipped home to add to my collection....and so I don't have to paint my office wall!!
